The following pages include a few of the horses here at Hunterland that we are still bringing along. They attend a few shows to school or show lightly and see the world until they are ready to put it all together. We pride are selves on not pushing them and allowing them to let us know when they are ready for more.

Our Babies include the young ones still in Holland.  The babies stay with the Dam for five months out in huge fields with other moms and babies. Once weaned they are put back outside with the other foals their.  They stay with their “group” in the fields during summer and are inside during the winter.  Whether they are in or out they are checked on and handled daily. At three they are brought in and started under saddle. We have found that raising them this way makes them easy to handle and smarter about handling things they encounter in the show environment.
