Vickie Fontaine

Vickie attended Morven Park International Equestrian Institute were she was invited to stay for the Advance Instructors Course which she graduated with honors. The Institute was primarily taught by Colonel Bengt Ljunquist after he retired from coaching the US Dressage Team. They also had the privilege to be instructed by Jack Le Goff (US Eventing Team Coach) and Bertalan de Nemethy when they were in town.  She had numerous win in Dressage with scores in the 80% and in eventing. After graduation she was invited to stay and work at the Institute.   She then moved to Yucatan were she took a team to the Nationals in Mexico City.  After a year in Mexico she moved to Florida and ran a Hunter Jumper farm with a training track for thoroughbreds we she worked six months at the track learning all about race horses.  On the Hunter Jumper Circuit she has had circuit champions at WEF in both the Hunters and Jumpers and also rode “Gold Exchange” to Horse Of the Year in the First Year Green Hunters. She has had many wins from the Baby Greens thru Regular Hunters and coaches students in all levels of the hunters and jumpers.

Carrie Buxton

Owner and Amateur Rider
Carrie started riding at the age ten showing her first pony in 4-H shows and Cross Country and  then venturing into showing Quarter Horses. While showing Quarter Horses in both English and Reining disciplines she showed at shows throughout the county including the Youth World Shows and Congress with top placings at both.  After high school she starting importing horses from Holland then started breeding them.  One thing after another led her to goal of finding and breeding the best quality hunter jumpers. 

Alishia Garcia

Junior Rider
Alishia started riding and showing ponies at a young age. She first started with hunter ponies and then jumper ponies.   Since starting riding at Hunterland she has helped with every faucet of the horses care and the careers.  

Armand Mastandrea

All Around Man
Armand not only helps with the horses but anyway on the farm.  He fills any void that is needed from making grain to growing grass.  The horses are always happy to see him and the special rubs that follow.

Jorge Sosa

Groom
Jorge has been a part of our team for about a year and a half now.  He calls the horses “my horses” and cares for them as if they are, the horses love his attention and his care.  He never misses a beat and always wears a smile.
